David Weiss was an invaluable resource as a realtor. As a first time home buyer, I was easily overwhelmed and confused by some of the real estate procedures. Not only was David patient in explaining the process, but he went out of his way to check in with me as we moved forward with a sale to make sure I did not have any questions along the way and to remind me of certain deadlines and requirements. While searching for houses, David was helpful in pointing out various defects that may not be obvious to a first time home buyer. While there were some unexpected bumps in the road on some of the houses I originally made offers on, David always had my best interest in mind. This became most clear when I was about to accept a counteroffer from a seller and David called me in the afternoon to tell me that a house just went on the
market that day in my target neighborhood. He was able to show me the house that night so that I could quickly decide between the two houses. It would have been much easier for him to let me accept the counteroffer and move along with the sale, but he was a dedicated advocate who was determined to make
sure I found the right house for me. Even under such time sensitive circumstances, David provided guidance but never applied pressure in making my decision. David was very accommodating, often meeting me or taking phone calls at night and on weekends. I wanted to thank you again for your diligence, great attitude and support during our difficult journey recently involving the short sale of our home. When I knew that I was losing my job and was led to leave the Northeast to relocate my family, I didn't know exactly what was to happen with my home there in Hamilton.
